The official launch of elle ira à l’école was held in the Guinean capital, Conakry on October 22, 2019 under the patronage of the Minister of Social Action and Women’s and Girls Empowerment, Hadja Mariama Sylla.
The event brought together representatives of international organisations, members of civil society and business leaders who contributed financially to allow the foundation to continue its activities.
The founder of Saint Georges, one of the most prestigious private schools in Conakry, offered a full-time scholarship to five girls, covering their education from elementary to the end of secondary school.
The event was the opportunity to promote the Foundation’s mission and activities and seek additional support.
